Here’s what you’ll need to complete the switch:

Your MPRN (Meter Point Reference Number). This will be on any previous electricity bill for the premise/s

Depending on the size of your business, three historic electricity bills or a breakdown of your half hourly data.

Business and specified personnel contact details.

Financial details for monthly Direct Debit payments.
We'll bill you every month, based on your actual or estimated usage. You can view your bills anytime in your Customer Portal.
You can pay by variable Direct Debit, or make a payment when you receive your bill. Customers paying on receipt of their bill will be subject to a deposit at the point of registration. If you’d like further information, please email our Commercial Team or call them on 0808 304 9870.
Yes. Every bill will clearly show your unit rate, standing charge, VAT, as well as any credits or adjustments. Your bill amount will be based on your actual or estimated consumption for the month. If something doesn’t look right, just get in touch and our team will get to the bottom of it.
At Share Energy, all tariffs are transparent, with no hidden extras. There are several options for business customers; however, the best option depends on your business and the type of meter you have
Our business tariffs are as follows:
Popular/Farm Popular - best for offices and 9–5 premises
Nightsaver/Farm Nightsaver - best for food retail, storage heaters, or chillers
Weekender - best for pubs and venues busy at evenings or weekends.

Like most suppliers, our rates track wholesale electricity prices. At Share, we’re investing in renewable generation and working towards a cleaner, greener future. But for now, much of Northern Ireland’s electricity comes from fossil fuels and prices can rise and fall in line with gas and raw material costs.
Don’t wait until it becomes a problem. Talk to us early, and we’ll help you find a repayment plan that works for you. We can also review your tariff or payment method to ease the pressure.
Disconnection is always a last resort. We’ll contact you first and work with you to find a fair solution.

Most business contracts last 12 months, however we may be able to offer longer and alternative contract options. Please speak to us about the options available to you.
