EV savings start on driveways

EV savings start on driveways

Great to see Share Energy CEO Damian Wilson featured in The Irish News, discussing how home charging and dedicated overnight electricity tariffs can significantly reduce the cost of EV ownership.
With Share Energy's dedicated EV tariff offering an overnight rate of just 17.19p per kWh, drivers can take advantage of cheaper electricity during off-peak hours. In fact, charging a 64kWh EV at home using Share’s overnight rate could cost around £11 – approximately 35% less than the standard domestic charging cost estimated by RAC Charge Watch.
Damian also explores how government grants, home charging support and lower running costs could help make the switch to electric more accessible for drivers across Northern Ireland.
